Took a look at the linescore right now before heading home for the day, and wow. Another game with no pitching to speak of. The Rangers won 15-10.

Game Recap
PEORIA, Ariz. (AP) — Shawn Estes allowed three runs in four innings Friday as a San Diego Padres’ split squad lost to the Texas Rangers 15-10.
Ian Kinsler hit a three-run homer in the second off Estes, who struck out five. Rangers starter Vicente Padilla allowed one run and three hits in three innings.
San Diego made five errors that led to six unearned runs on a cold, windy day.
“It certainly wasn’t a thing of beauty,” Rangers manager Buck Showalter said. “But the conditions were tough and both teams used a lot of young players.”
Padres manager Bruce Bochy agreed.
“It was a tough day for our pitchers. Our young kids made a lot of mistakes. We made errors, missed cutoff men. It was pretty ugly,” Bochy said.
Walter Young hit a three-run homer for the Padres in the eighth. Termel Sledge made his first spring training appearance after being slowed by calf and ankle injuries and had two hits.
Brian Shouse was the winner and Scott Cassidy the loser.

Wow! This was a pretty good game. They found a Way to score most of their runs without a Homerun. 15 runs Scored you think they had more then one Homerun hit in the game.
I Wonder what the boxscore of Texas vs. Japan game On Mar. 9. I know it was mostly the Triple-A crew Except Kinsler.

About Site

This is a Texas Rangers fan site run by Joe Siegler. From 1999 through 2013 I used to do daily game updates, but got burnt out on that and stopped.

The site lives on as my favorite section to update I’m still very interested in. That is the Uniform Number history pages, which I’m quite proud of. Plus Ill write the odd article here and there.

I mostly spend my time in this Facebook group talking about the Rangers these days.

If you have any questions, please feel free to drop me a line.
