Those of you who follow my site know that I put together an annual Yahoo Fantasy Baseball League. I will be doing that again this year. However, Yahoo has not opened up signups yet. So I have a question to those visitors of mine who participate.
Would you prefer a draft date as early as possible, or something closer to the start of the actual season, or something in the middle. Let me know ASAP, as I expect these things to open up for the 2009 season shortly.
I generally have 4 Yahoo Leagues… 2 draft just before the season starts, 1 drafts almost as soon as the site opens in February and the other drafts the first or second week in March.
I’m planning on being in yours so I’ll draft my other 3 teams to fit whichever is chosen for your league.
In my opinion, you get a better draft the closer it is to Opening Day. Plus you are less likely to have people forget about or abandon the league before the season even starts.
