A Short Break Pt 2

Posted by Joe Siegler on March 7, 2008 at 8:42 pm

Still taking a short break from updating. What I didn’t mention the other day since at that time I wasn’t ready to talk about it is that my wife and I lost our baby. We were pregnant. Not anymore, unfortunately.
I wrote about it at length at my personal blog. You can read about it there if you’d like.
I hope to be back and running again over the weekend.

    Joe,
I knew y’all were pregnant again. I am so sorry to hear that your wife has lost the baby. I have two kids, 8 and 5, but have never lost one. I hope I don’t. I don’t want to sound trite, or fill you up with platitudes, but your baby will never know of the pains of this Earth. It will only know of eternity with God. That is a treasure in itself. I know you live in Garland, we are not too far away. Let us know if we can do anything for you.
    Love,
    Matt

Best wishes Joe, you have my prayers. My sister miscarried early last year – very tough deal for everybody.

Prayers are coming from Ardmore, Oklahoma.
I didn’t even know you had a personal blog. I read this blog more than any other because of the perspective on the Rangers but I always like reading just regular personal blogs because it gives insight into how others think about different subjects.
Nothing I can say that Matt didn’t say above. Best of luck in the coming weeks and God bless.

About Site

This is a Texas Rangers fan site run by Joe Siegler. From 1999 through 2013 I used to do daily game updates, but got burnt out on that and stopped.

The site lives on as my favorite section to update I’m still very interested in. That is the Uniform Number history pages, which I’m quite proud of. Plus Ill write the odd article here and there.

I mostly spend my time in this Facebook group talking about the Rangers these days.

If you have any questions, please feel free to drop me a line.
