Again, since it wasn't on the radio, I can't comment at all.   Was nice to see them win in extra innings, instead of losing.  :)

On another note, Joe Torre was diagnosed with prostate cancer.  I'm no Yankees fan, but man, that sucks.

Game Recap

FORT MYERS, FLORIDA (TICKER) -- Milt Cuyler singled in the winning run with one out in the bottom of the 10th inning as the Minnesota Twins outlasted the Texas Rangers, 7-6, in exhibition play.

Cuyler's hit scored Kelly Dransfeldt, who opened the 10th with a single and moved up on a sacrifice.

Trailing 6-5, the Twins tied it in the bottom of the ninth as Melvin Nieves led off with a walk, went to third on Christian Guzman's single and scored on Chad Allen's base hit.

Lee Stevens belted a solo homer in the fourth for the Rangers, while Rob Sasser went 2-for-4 with a homer and drove in three runs.

Ron Coomer drilled a two-run homer for the Twins in the sixth.

Al Levine earned the victory, allowing two hits over 1 2/3 scoreless innings.

Fred Rath took the loss, allowing one run and two hits in an inning.
